One Year Done

Monday, October 8, 2018

Hey, guys!

WEDNESDAY, October 3rd: We went and saw J. He is smashing as always and funny as all get out. He doesn't believe in doctors but needs to go see one for his foot. I think he has heel spurs. This guy has survived three heart attacks, two strokes, and a head-on collision with a pick-up truck while driving a scooter; he is UNKILLABLE!!! We had district council in Paphos, and I had a long conversation with a man from Georgia who is a theologist. He loved the Book of Mormon, and after I explained about the Restoration and asked if he would like to meet with the missionaries in Paphos, he said, "First, I need to read and study this book to see if it has the Holy Spirit and if angels still speak." Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas to Elder Müller! Here is Moroni 10:4-5, sir. "Wow! That's amazing!"

THURSDAY, October 4th: 1 YEAR, BABY!!!!!!! I spent the day with Elder F. on an exchange. We helped the same part member family Elder VE. and I helped on Tuesday. We took all the home appliances in a super sketchy old pick-up truck all the way up the mountains. It was terrifying but fun! We came back to Limassol from the mountain and went to Nuovo for lunch. Nuovo is owned by the children of our Cypriot parents. So, our siblings own it, lol. I forgot that Cypriot brother was in England, but it was still mint.

FRIDAY, October 5th: We saw a lot of people, but they were short visits everywhere. The biggest event was TGIFriday's at the marina for my 1-year celebration with Elder VE.! We may have had the newest Russian server of all time and needed a manager to come over so we could actually pay after 30 minutes, but MINT LADS!

SATURDAY, October 6th: We went and saw a less active and had a good time with her and her friends; she stuffed us with cookies and sweets right before dinner with the Risers! The dinner was still amazing, and General Conference was class!

SUNDAY, October 7th: Church was with once again a small number of people. I taught Sunday school about Amos and Joel, and that went well. Translation during Sacrament meeting for T. was easy-peasy for the most part. The Gift of Tongues is real, lads. We saw Cypriot dad and talked to him for a little bit. He did not like fasting, lol. General Conference was intense: JEFFREY!!!!!

Alright, everybody, that's about all for right now. Hope you have a great week!
