Last Week in Piraeus

Island of Salamina

Hello, one and all! That's right, we got transfer calls, and the opposite of what everyone thought would happen, happened! I will be going to Egaleo with my MTC companion, Elder Z.! Elder F. will stay in Piraeus with Elder H.

MONDAY, May 20th: So, you know how the Lord works in mysterious ways? Well after emails, we needed to go help a member fix her computer. As a backstory, three years ago in September, I attended my first semester at BYU-Idaho. I shipped my recently built computer to Idaho from Florida. When I booted up the computer, it didn't work, and I was forced to open it up and figure out what was wrong. For no apparent reason and with no other damage to the computer, a SATA cable had come unplugged from the hard drive. I fixed it and didn't think much of it, just that it was strange that only this cable became unplugged. Well long story short, because of that experience, I was able to get this lady's computer working. It was somehow booting from a Family Search CD she had in the computer and was forcing the PC into a Family Search database or reader or something. Weird!

TUESDAY, May 21st: We had a good district council and whiteboard.

WEDNESDAY, May 22nd: We searched out addresses and had an awesome lesson with R. He is doing very well and loves having lessons with us. We had dinner at an embassy family's home, and it was sooooo good, but I was so full I felt sick, lol.

THURSDAY, May 23rd: We taught at the Friendship Center for a very long time...But, our last class was super fun, and we had a good time. We had a good whiteboard that night as well. One of our local friends wrote out a list of whiteboard questions for us, haha. They are really good!

FRIDAY, May 24th: We had the dreaded Weekly Planning and a lesson with R. We got transfer calls that night as well.

SATURDAY, May 25th: We helped a lady move in the morning and did a whiteboard. It was not a very busy day.

SUNDAY, May 26th: We had church, and there were two youth speakers and no one else scheduled to speak because normally we have two speakers. and that's it, but I think they forgot that youth speakers don't write very long talks, lol. So, the branch president gave a baaaaallin’ impromptu talk, and it was miiiint!

MONDAY, May 27th: We are actually on our way to Salamina right now. I am writing this from a bus, lol. It is an island right off the coast, and we are all going there for a BBQ at a member's house. Elder F. has been waiting for a long time to go there, haha.

Love you all!

Note: Elder Muller did not have his normal amount of time to email on Monday due to his trip to the island. He did upload pictures, but he was not able to send any comments for what they were! Maybe he can clear that up next week!
