Hey,
guys! It's been a good week in Limassol.
TUESDAY: There was no
district meeting, but I had an exchange in Kato Paphos with Elder M. It was
weird to be back in my home town, and I forgot how much walking they do there
and how awful it is on your feet, lol. The exchange was good. We walked from
the harbor to Coral Bay, which is insane. In the photos, if you look at the
white lighthouse, we were past that and were on the way back when we took the photos, lol. We saw lots of little miracles.

WEDNESDAY: Elder M.
and I did service at the horse farm and had a lesson with our friend there
about family history. Then, we went to the bus, and I was back in blessed Limassol! I
love this city so much! It is by far my favorite area and city. I just love
everything here. We went and saw our friend and his friend who is from Russia.
She lost her mom recently and has a daughter who is now alone in Russia. Her
daughter is 18 and just graduated. I have now been very humorously offered her
daughter as my fiancé. So, I have a lot of thinking to do, and I will let you
know how it goes next week, hahahaha. We got to see our Cypriot Parents, and
that is always a favorite moment in the week! We attended Bible Study with our pastor
friends, and that was interesting. We have a pastor of a certain faith, and he
claims to
speak in tongues. But, his tongues are yelling random gibberish at
the ceiling.....so that was interesting. Meanwhile, we have Elder V. over here
speaking fluent Greek after less than two years in the country, lol.
THURSDAY: I taught
Elder V. how to make my tuna salad. He loves it, lol. For our one hour for lunch, I
ate leftovers from the day before and finally did it—I took a 25-minute nap
with the rest of our allotted meal time. It was HEAVEN. We had a lesson with
the part-member family about temples and the Plan of Salvation and why we do
baptisms for the dead. It was good. They surprised us by also having dinner
made in the other room, so we stayed, haha. Filipino food is sooooo good. We
were able to do the dishes before we left, which is always our favorite.
FRIDAY: We went
running. We prepped for our devotional with President and Sister Kearon. The
devotional was great. Sister Kearon talked about how through the Atonement, we
can take away all spiritual hurts, wrongs, and scars. President Kearon
spoke about being a good missionary and speaking with people using normal
language instead of canned gospel lingo. He put me on the spot a lot, lol. We (Elder Muller and Elder V.) performed “Come unto Christ,” and it went very, very well. Sister Kearon was
crying a lot, hehe.

SATURDAY: We helped
some members with moving stuff out of a restaurant and into a moving van to put
into storage. We had a quick lesson with a Chinese investigator. We talk about
the Book of Mormon Stories picture book because her English is very limited.
She's great. We had a lot of administrative meetings that took most of the
morning. We had football finding, and it went pretty well, but our Russian
friend from last week didn't show up, which was too bad. We received a referral
from a Visitors’ Center in England, which was really cool. We get a call from
the sister missionaries there asking why we hadn’t contacted our referral yet. I was like,
"I'm sorry we are not a technology enabled mission; we don't see our
referral manager until Monday when we do emails." LOL! Welcome back to the
2nd world, Sister. Not everyone has smartphones.
That's about all for
me this week.
Have a good week, guys!
