Hello everyone and Happy New Year!

This week has been very eventful and a blast.

This email will pretty much be about Zone Conference, but first NEWS:

Elder C. returned home (Elder P.’s companion) to get surgery on his torn meniscus. He will be coming back in a few months. That means it was trio time for the rest of us! Elder P. has been stuck in the apartment for three weeks and was bursting with energy. We went finding on Thursday night and met a bunch of awesome people and spoke tons of Greek as well. So funny story about that night, Elder P's name in Greek is spelled, "Πρεσβύτερος Πεϊ," but in Greek, haha, Πεϊ or any form of P. is the plural form of, well, male genitalia. So, he introduced himself to these two young guys, and they just look at each other. It was hilarious. So, Elder P. is getting a new name tag with his first name on it, lol. He is now Πρεσβύτερος 'Αμωςr, or Elder A.

On Friday morning, we went to Limassol for a Zone Social. What that means is all the missionaries and senior couples that are in Cyprus came, and we had a scavenger hunt, ate food, and watched Chariots of Fire. It was a lot of fun to see Elder Z. and Elder R. again. We spent the night in a hostel, and that was fun. I was so tired I almost passed out writing in my journal.

On Saturday, we got up and went to the church. Getting ready with five elders in one bathroom was lots of fun! :) Once at church, we started Zone Conference. All the senior couples gave 30-minute lessons on things we can improve on and how to overcome challenges that we face. I think the biggest thing I learned was that true change only comes through love. In spiritual or physical matters, if you don't love something more than you love where you are right now, or what you are doing right now, you will always go back to your old ways. We must truly love the Savior in order to change ourselves inside.

President Heder gave a great lesson on “The Mediator,” talk given by Elder Packer 40 years ago (see a video about this talk here, and read the full text here). He spoke about how we are often the harshest people on ourselves. We think we aren't worth the Savior's love, but we always are.

Zone Conference was a blast, and we all learned so much. On Sunday, President Heder and Sister Heder came with M. (their daughter) to Paphos for church and lunch. They gave beautiful talks in Sacrament meeting, and Marie played piano, and the elders sang “I Know That My Redeemer Lives.” It went well, and everyone could feel the Spirit. A., the lady from the horse farm, came, and it was just a great Sunday.

We had lunch with the Sampsons and Heders after church. I almost forgot, the Heders brought Elder A.'s new companion, Elder M. He was one of the assistants to President and has spent most of his mission in Cyprus. FINALLY! Somebody who speaks Cypriot! He is awesome, and we love him already.

Not much else happened this week.

Love you all! I will try to send pictures!

Editor's Note: Since I was so late posting this letter, and since Elder Müller didn't include new pictures this week, I have posted all the pictures in the most recent letter.
