Hey, guys! It has been a very quick week with a lot of stuff happening, but like normal, me not remembering a lot! :)

TUESDAY, April 2nd: We met with a man who wants to get baptized, and he told us that he has stopped drinking coffee after hearing us mention over dinner that we don't drink it. He has read all of 1 Nephi already and just wants to go through the lessons so he understands the gospel before he gets baptized. He is incredibly humble and has given everything for his faith.

We had a great district council and a lesson with our friend A. We taught her another lesson in preparation for her baptism on the 6th. We met a man on the road who stopped us and asked to have a copy of the Book of Mormon. He wants to know what we believe about the Law of Chastity, haha, and invited us to stop by sometime. We met up with a less-active member who bought us dinner, and that was our day.

WEDNESDAY, April 3rd: We taught at the Friendship Center in the morning and had gyros for lunch. We visited the lady who stopped us last week while we were withdrawing money and asked to learn more. Turns out, she and her brothers have a radio station and wanted us to be on it as well as learn about the gospel, haha. That went very well, and she wants to be baptized!

Unfortunately, our next appointment bailed on us. We met with S., and he isn't doing so hot. He really needs to find a job in order to pay rent, and he relapsed in his smoking.

THURSDAY, April 4th: We met with a member, and he shared with us a story and miracle that occurred in his life the week before. He was just baptized about a year ago and is soooo solid and strong in the gospel. He reads church books like two hours a day, every single day. We had a great lunch cooked by Elder C. and a good lesson with A., N., and G.

FRIDAY, April 5th: We had service at the Caritas Soup Kitchen and then had lunch with a less-active member with the Piraeus elders. We finished watching The Safety Zone and had a visit with some Turkish friends.

SATURDAY, April 6th: We had studies in the morning and lunch. We then met with a less-active member, and he went with us to pick up the lady with the radio station to take her to church to see the baptism. It was great. And A.’s baptism went smoothly, and we got it right the first try! She was so sweet, and the Spirit was there. Then, the Saturday Morning Session of General Conference was great!!!!

[Editor's note: Biannually, in April and October, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has a weekend filled with talks from our worldwide presiding general authorities, called General Conference. There are five sessions: Saturday Morning, Saturday Afternoon, Priesthood/General Relief Society Session (which alternates each conference), Sunday Morning, and Sunday Afternoon Session. In total, that is ten hours of uplifting messages to the church from our modern apostles and the prophet, President Russell M. Nelson.]

SUNDAY, April 7th: We had an absolutely incredible Greek testimony meeting along with A's confirmation. I translated 85% of the meeting, and Elder H. helped as well. It is really hard but fun to translate into English, lol. The English Branch went well, and Elder C. and I had to last minute cover teaching Sunday School. With zero minutes of prep time, it went pretty dang well, if I do say so myself, lol. We ate lunch at the Zone Leaders’ apartment with all of the elders and then went back to church to view the General Priesthood Session. Talk about a ballin’ session!!!!

That evening, we received some training and activated our smart phones before watching the Sunday Morning Session, which was once again incredible!!!!

MONDAY, April 8th: We shopped for phone cases and ate Indian Gyros.

Thanks, guys, and have a great week! Study the talks from General Conference!!!!
