New Year Passed and So Did My Anniversary

Hey, guys! It's been a quick week, which means a quick email!

TUESDAY, January 1st: We did service, I think, but can't really remember. In the evening, we re-watched The Greatest Showman and then had enough time to go and watch all of the songs again for a third time. hehe. It was really good, and we all loved it.

WEDNESDAY, January 2nd: We had District Council in Larnaca, and that went pretty well. Elder F. knows what it feels like now to be on the other side (#limassolwarriors #standup) of leadership, hehehehehe. Inside joke, sorry, guys. I started an exchange with Elder H. in Larnaca, and we went and had a lesson on the beach with three guys. It was sick.

THURSDAY, January 3rd: Elder H. and I went in the morning for a lesson at one of their friend's home, and while we were waiting outside his door, a guy was walking past, and so we stopped him and started speaking to him. Turns out, he used to know the missionaries back in Ghana. There are miracles every day, lads. Anyway, the lesson at the friend's house was mint, and the rest of the day was finding and smashing out contacts/a lesson with a guy. I got to spend an hour by myself with Elder Fleming on our way back to Nicosia, and of course, that was very mint too. 

FRIDAY, January 4th: This day was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring, just studies and planning. We also received...Emergency Transfer calls! Yaaaaaaay.... We found out that Elder A-J would be returning, and he and Elder J. would be companions. They are living at our place until the Flemings (Senior Missionary Couple who are completing their mission to Cyprus) move out in a few weeks. We also got Taco Bell for dinner, saw Taylor Swift AND Cher Lloyd (on a TV, lol) as we were there, and I had an actual Greek conversation. It was a successful evening.

SATURDAY, January 5th: We had coordination meeting, and then Elder J. and I went to Larnaca so he could perform a baptismal interview. Elder H. stayed here with Elder I. while Elder F. went on splits with Elder Fleming. Our bus schedule was wrong, so we were running late to Larnaca. The baptismal interview took a long time because the entire thing was being run through translation. So, I sat with the Grovers (Senior Missionary couple in Larnaca) and the sisters and chilled. We took Elder A-J back to Nicosia with us once the interview was done. We went to our movie night in Nicosia and watched the “Be One Celebration.” 

SUNDAY, January 6th: We had a successful turnout with 33 people in church, and I taught Sunday School with the help of R. We smashed out the Voice of the Lord survey with the help of D. and taught a lesson to D. with P. and J. present as well. D. has really good but very difficult questions to answer. 

Thanks, guys. I loved The Greatest Showman and now may have a slight obsession with Zenfron....but that's okay!!!
