Sporting a new haircut! Paul's Pillar in the background.

Contemplating the history of Paul's Pillar.

Hello everyone,

So this week we got haircuts after emails last Monday, and my,my did George do good. It's probably the 10 euro gel we bought from him ;)

Monday we also went to see Paul's Pillar, or what's left of it. You will see it in the pictures.  We had the lamb that the Sampson's have been dying to have us eat, and it was pretty good. Mine was a little dry and very, very bony lol.

Tuesday was service with the Sampsons at the horse farm. Everyone asks me what we do there so here it is. We pull up with the Sampson's pimpin Nissan Note, cloud white btw, and we roll in and just get to work faster than Elder A. gets new companions. Elder J. refills the water barrels at every stall, and I sweep the concrete and entrances to the stalls so there isn't hay everywhere. We also take one of the horses to the sea to help heal his infected leg.

Wednesday we had district meeting here in Paphos and started an exchange with Elder V. E., one of our zone leaders. He was with the both of us and trying to see how much help we needed lol. Actually he was with us because Elder J. was straight out of training when I got here, and they wanted to make sure we were doing things by the book. And for the most part, we have been doing things correctly :) We got to eat at Gino's pizza that night, best pizza in the world.

Thursday was a great day with Elder V.E. with us. He is absolutely hilarious! He is from the Netherlands. He knows Bryan, or at least knows of him. (Bryan is Elder Muller's older brother who served his mission in the Belgium/Netherlands Mission from September 2014 to September 2016.

Friday we had English class with E. which was great as usual.

Saturday we did the horses again and we proselyted for a bit. We also practiced our musical number for Sunday and Zone Conference. We sang Peace in Christ, the youth theme for 2018 arranged by yours truly. Funny story, I completely skipped the bridge for about a week. 18 hours before we were supposed to perform in sacrament meeting, Elder A. points out that I'm skipping a line on the piano, just also happens to be the hardest part of the song! So I got to learn it in about five minutes so we could finish practicing.

Here is a link to this beautiful song:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R46J-GjbRWA

Sunday we performed and it went well. We had a munch and mingle after church, which was fun. The appointment we had with R. and the sister missionaries in England fell through again, but we were able to visit M. and E. that night. I gave M. a blessing and I think she felt the Spirit. She is not ready to accept the gospel right now, but we are hopeful for the future.

Today we have Disney movies all day and chilling at the Sampsons.

See ya next week y'all. Also, Captain Moroni is a boss. Read his letter to Pahoran and feel the fire man.
