Just Call Me Sister Müller!

Hello, everyone, and welcome back to the last email from the city of paradise!

TUESDAY: We were supposed to have a Zone Football match against a team here in Paphos, but they were too scared and bailed out at the last minute. So, we went to Limassol for a zone training meeting. The meeting was extremely good, and everyone felt the Spirit. We also started writing a script for a Book of Mormon play series that we are creating. We were inspired after the Passion Play.

WEDNESDAY: We went to the refugee center again and played football with the kids. We had a great time in English and Greek classes. It's so funny. Our English class students love us teaching straight from the Gospel Principles manual! So, we talked about service, and after Greek class, I spoke to one guy about temples for 15 minutes. We had branch council, and then that was pretty much it.

THURSDAY: We had weekly planning and then service. We spent the afternoon/evening with the B. family, their son who is here on holiday, and our friend. It was a great BBQ and an interesting lesson. Satan really did not want the Spirit to be there. Every type of interruption that could possibly happen did, lol. But, it was still good.

FRIDAY: We went up to P.'s house and visited him for an hour. Riding down the hill on the bikes was great though. We went and saw M., an elderly Irish woman that Elder J. and I met, to see if she still needed help moving. We met her husband and spoke to them for an hour. They are lovely. We played football with Father F. (a Catholic priest) and some kids and received transfer calls that evening. I will be going to Nicosia Olympia with Elder S. We will be co-district leaders and also whitewashing (this is a missionary term for when both companions are new to the area; typically, at least one of the elders is in an area already before a companion is transferred there).

SATURDAY: Call me Sister Müller because I baked lemon cookies today. The whole day was hectic, and nothing that we planned for actually worked out, but the day was still good. We made little Easter gifts and tried to hand them out that evening. We played football again, and it was pretty boring. Oh, some people from English class also gave us three cakes to say thank you for all of our hard work, so that was dope.  😊

SUNDAY: We had General Conference in church and watched the Saturday Afternoon session (watch it here). Our friend came to church and liked General Conference. We had a munch and mingle afterwards and then went to the Sampsons’ to watch the Sunday Afternoon session (watch it here). The Limassol elders also came this evening because of some transfer logistics. So, Elders G. and H. stayed the night in our apartment.

I only have 18 months left, and I baked cookies (which is why I am like a sister missionary since they serve for 18 months instead of 24).

I love you all and have a great week!
