Hey, guys! Another quick week has passed, but when I think about last P-day, it feels like a month ago.

TUESDAY, June 11th We had district council, which went well, and had a meal/lesson with K. afterwards. We ate McDonald's late that night and then went running—bad decision.

WEDNESDAY, June 12th: We did door-knocking for a bit and actually got let into the garden of an older couple. We spoke to the man for an hour or so, the woman was going to church, and he shared a wonderful story from his days as a police officer. He allowed us to pray with him, and we left a Restoration pamphlet. We had an okay whiteboard in Piraeus that night as well. We went running, but halfway through, it started pouring.

THURSDAY, June 13th: We had an amazing lesson with A. She prayed about the Book of Mormon and knows that it is true! 

FRIDAY, June 14th: We met with R. (a new friend from Cameroon!) and taught the Restoration. He loved it and is super prepared! We had an okay whiteboard in Peristeri as well. 

SATURDAY, June 15th: We got bailed on for an appointment and had McDonald’s again, but from H. this time. We met with G. for the first time in months. We met with R. and went to the church tour. The tour itself went pretty well, and we made friends with two girls that live in our area. 

SUNDAY, June 16th: We had church, and R. came (different R.), and we tried to work on the member list after church but weren't able to because, for silly reasons, I still do not have access rights in the system. I called my dad (Happy Father's Day!) and did a whiteboard in Syntagma with most of the other missionaries. 

MONDAY, June 17th: We had breakfast with H. and the sisters on a rooftop cafe and are now going to the mall to go bowling.

Quick Week

[Editor's Note: The missionaries took a trip on the 10th, so they got back late and didn't have much time to email or send pictures.]

Hey, guys! It was a quick week here in Egaleo.

TUESDAY, June 4th: We had a good district council and then had a lesson and language study at McDonald's. We went to Peristeri to do a whiteboard, but there really wasn't anybody there. So, we went to Syntagma and did it there instead.

WEDNESDAY, June 5th: We did service for a looooong time and had to carry stuff from the top of an apartment complex to the curb. We ran in the morning as well, so our legs were dead. We had a whiteboard at the boardwalk with the Piraeus elders.

THURSDAY, June 6th: We taught at the Friendship Center, and it went pretty well. We went to some Congolese members, and Elder Z. taught in French, and I may or may not have fallen asleep/dozed off multiple times. We had a lesson with R., and he's doing well. We had family home evening at a member's home with R as well and had pizza.

FRIDAY, June 7th: We met in the morning with an Orthodox priest to have a lesson. He was super funny and kinda strange.... He just randomly got up and asked us to walk with him to the metro during the lesson, lol. We smashed out weekly planning and a whiteboard at Peristeri. The Piraeus elders came, and Elder F. had some fans...

SATURDAY, June 8th: We did door-knocking for three hours. We met a cool guy, but he didn't have interest, and we tried to retrace our steps as we were finishing up but couldn't find him again to mark the address. We waited an hour for an appointment and then had to leave. He showed up right after we left.... That night, we went with an investigator to an African Cultural Festival, which was siiiiiick. 

SUNDAY, June 9th: We had a packed sacrament meeting with tourists. We had a lunch with some members and missionaries and had a pretty bad whiteboard that night. 

MONDAY, June 10th: We are going to Delphi—the site of the ancient oracle of Apollo. This was a woman that could foretell the future to the ancient Greeks.

Hello Everyone,

This is going to be a short email!

TUESDAY, May 28th : We had transfers, and I came to Egaleo. Elder Z. and I worked on the member list for two hours trying to finish cleaning it up. We saw Sister S. for a second outside of the metro because she is back here on vacation. We did a whiteboard in Piraeus. It took like an hour and a half to get home with the bus...

WEDNESDAY, May 29th: We met with an orthodox monk, and he dropped us (he was an investigator), and it was pretty interesting. We did service with a member, and some gypsies came and just like stripped the place we were cleaning out. So, gypsies came in handy! 

THURSDAY, May 30th: We taught at the Friendship Center and had a lesson with a member and a lady. The lady's kid was throwing stuff all over the place, lol. We had another lesson that night as well and a mini FHE (Family Home Evening). Elders B. and A. spent the night with us. 

FRIDAY, May 31st: We had zone conference.

SATURDAY, June 1st: I don't remember, but I think we did a whiteboard. 

SUNDAY, June 2nd: We had a visit from Elder Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and President Johnson of the Europe Area Presidency. The missionaries had a meeting with them before sacrament meeting, and it was so cool. Sacrament meeting was awesome, and Elder Cook spoke a lot about diversity and the culture of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 

MONDAY, June 3rd: We went rollerblading and ate at TGI's.
